Wigan Central railway station

Wigan Central railway station was a former railway station in Wigan, Lancashire (now Greater Manchester), England. The station was part of the Great Central Railway and opened in 1892. Wigan Central was the terminus of the branch line from Glazebrook Junction and closed in November 1964. The building which was on Station Road near to the town centre, was subsequently demolished and a car park built on the site.
