[edit] What Wikipedia is not

Please read our policy on what Wikipedia is not; you'll note that it says that Wikipedia isn't a social networking site. I've deleted your edit to Wikipedia talk:Talk page; please focus on improving Wikipedia as an encyclopedia. A good place to start is Help:Contents, which is linked to via "Help" on the left side of the screen (in the "interaction" box).

If you have any questions about that, please feel free to ask at my user talk page, or at the help desk. Thanks. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 14:21, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image problem

The article Romeo guzman has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:56, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Romeog.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Romeog.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
