The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is a private business school founded in 1984. The school is located in Vallendar, a small city near Koblenz. The School sees its mission as the education of global managers and entrepreneurs, and its programs have an international focus. Over the past twenty years WHU has established a worldwide network of over 150 partner universities worldwide. The school was the first German university to receive EQUIS accreditation.
WHU is supported by the WHU Foundation, an organisation of industry sponsors and the School is well-known for its corporate links. The School is ranked as a top business school in Germany (source, Spiegel Rankings 2006) and is increasingly recognized worldwide and across Europe. The School's partnership with the Kellogg School of Management, USA has led to the joint Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program being consistently ranked one of the best EMBA programs in Europe Source, Financial Times EMBA rankings 2006.

WHU offers the following programs:
- Three-year Bachelor of Science program which includes two mandatory internships and one semester in one of WHU's international partner schools.
- One-and-half year Master of Science program consecutive to the Bachelor of Science program
- The one-year Master of Law and Business (MLB) program together with Bucerius Law School. The program is highly international, runs for one academic year and combines education in Business and Law by Germany's finest institutions.
- Fulltime MBA program which includes visiting studies at Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University (USA), IIMB - Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and CEIBS - China Europe International Business School, study language is English
- The Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA programme in partnership with Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University, Evanston/Chicago, Illinois, USA, study language is English.
- Doctoral programs, students are awarded the German PhD equivalent Dr. rer. pol.
