Whoa is is an exclamation, predominantly used as a command to stop. The phrase is most often applied to horses. It is also an expression of surprise.

In pop culture, "Whoa!" is most often related to the 1990s NBC sitcom, Blossom. The phrase was constantly uttered by Joey Lawrence's character, Joey, when surprised or aroused.
