"Who Do You Wanna Be" is the eight single by the Dutch girl group Luv', released in the autumn of 1979 by Philips Records/Phonogram Records. This song appears on the formation's first album With Luv' and the pop act's first compilation Greatest Hits.

[edit] Song history

Because Luv' planned to sign a contract with the French label Carrere Records, the trio's first record company (Philips Records/Phonogram Records) decided as a counterattack to release Who Do You Wanna Be (a song taken from the group's first opus With Luv') as a single and to include it on a Greatest Hits album. The girl group didn't promote the song. That's why it failed to top the music charts. Luv' was indeed more concentrated on its Carrere recordings.
