[edit] Season 2 Heroes

they all been named

  • Good link there, but shouldn't there be eleven contestants for a reportedly ten-episode elimination game? (I'm not trying to contradict what's in the Official Magazine, but just wondering.) BobGreenwade 15:19, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
    • In the first episode last season two people left on the first episode.--CyberGhostface 17:37, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
      • And the second, and the third, and the fourth. I know that; I own the DVD. But if there are ten contestants in a ten-episode second season, does this mean one of the episodes will be "non-elimination" (as in The Amazing Race)? BobGreenwade 15:31, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
    • Wikipedia is not about what should or shouldn't be. Wikpedia is about what reliable sources say. Reliable souces say that there are ten episodes, and ten contestants. That is all that we need to know, unless/until reliable sources say otherwise. -- BBlackmoor (talk) • 2007-06-06 16:58Z

[edit] TV Movie from Season 1 winner

One of the prizes of the first season was that the winner was to have a tv movie made based on their character. Has this happened yet?

  • Not yet. We can all keep watching the IMDb, Sci-Fi Channel, and Feedback's official site for an announcement -- those are the three places we're most likely to find it. BobGreenwade 16:14, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
  • We just got the announcement in the past few days -- it's MegaSnake, airing August 25 of Sci-Fi.

[edit] Separate article for Season One

In light of the fact that season two is coming soon, I propose that we move all the information regarding season one (superheroes list, episode recaps, and results) to something along the lines of Who Wants to Be a Superhero (Season 1), or something similar. CaptPicard 18:21, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Right, I did it. Who Wants to Be a Superhero? (Season 1) and Who Wants to Be a Superhero? (Season 2). But, I only copypasta; I didn't have the guts to do the table for the episode progression. Be bold and do it!! --293.xx.xxx.xx 19:57, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] History Section

Isn't The Thing a Jewish Superhero who is in wide circulation? Is this section really accurate?

  • Ben Grimm's Jewishness isn't a fundamental part of his superhero presona, Mr. Mitzvah's is including his very name. On the other hand there is a minor Marvel super called Sabra who is basically Isreal's national superhero so she would definitely qualify.--Tricksterson 14:21, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

trisha paytas, of season 2 was on the Greg Behrendt Show. How can viewers be sure that the people chosen for the show are legit and not people trying to break into the buisness.

[edit] House seen on show

I'm pretty sure the house seen in the show is the same one that was used in America's Next Top Model, Cycle 4 and The Contender 2, but I'm not sure how to verify that on the Internet. THE evil fluffyface 15:59, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Licensing "superhero"

Has anyone seen any information on whether Sci-Fi Channel / Stan Lee has licensed the word "superhero" from DC Comics and Marvel? --Chris Griswold () 03:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Season Two "superpowers"

Why are these people being written about as if they actually have superpowers? Pairadox 05:16, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

This does need to be clarified, but I take it as writing about the character. Obviously Melody Mooney is the target of the reality show, but it's a series about the superheroes, not the secret identities. It's actually a pretty literal representation of the show: When Stan dismisses someone, they have to turn in their costume and they walk away as a 'regular person'. The character is what is destroyed. Season One should be modified to briefly detail each hero's abilities as well.DittoTOL 02:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
It's because in season 2 they actually have superpowers. They used cgi for them. On a reality show. Seriously. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.21.221 (talk) 03:25, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Previous appearance by "Mindset"?

Did anyone else think he looked like the bald man in the first season auditions who was inside the giant rubber ball? Could he have tried out 1st season as that hero and then re-tooled and re-auditioned for 2nd season? Or was that a different person? I suppose someone with the 1st season DVD can check that guy's face to confirm or disprove this. --Iritscen 18:33, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Parade?

Did Feedback ever appear in the parade at Universal Studios Florida? I live in Florida and kept an ear out for any info about this so I could go see him, but I never heard a peep about it. - Brian Kendig (talk) 01:25, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
