[edit] important clue in part 1 that wasn't mentioned

As Mr. Burns stumbled onto the sundial, you see his holster for a few frames, and his gun is clearly missing from it. There are significant portions of this wiki entry that are irrelevant or incorrent, considering that (Sideshow Mel with the knife, the various peoples' different weapons) and the fact that the gun is missing is an important clue too.

Anyone want to update the article to reflect that? =)

[edit] butterfinger

what about a mention of the butterfinger contest tied to these episodes?

[edit] Contest

Updated the contest entry as it full of misleading and incorrect statements. Krupo 03:29, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Season seven template

This article either needs the season seven template or should be split into separate articles for parts one and two. Tromboneguy0186 02:36, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

yeah, part 1 should be in the part 1 aricle, and part 2 should be in the part 2 article, kozmic|sk8r 04:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

This article used to be two separate articles. They were merged because the two articles were identical (word-for-word). That's not the case anymore. However, since then, the idea has been to keep the two as one, since they cover the same story. (And there are two templates because these are two different episodes.) --Hnsampat 04:41, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The person who guessed right

Does anyone know where I can find the post that guessed Maggie that is mentioned in the season 6 commentary?

The person guessed wrong, but they had to let someone win. So they randomly picked some lady. --24.11.213.167 04:04, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Clues" section

I like the "Clues" section. However, there are zero references in it, which suggests to me that it is 100% original research (i.e. people discovering clues on their own and then adding it to the article). Unless somebody can find some citations for that section, it will have to be deleted. (By citations, I mean quoting the show's producers, animators, etc., and having them say specifically that certain clues were added deliberately.) --Hnsampat 21:35, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Contest

The contest prize was never to be animated on the show; rather, it was to win an animated cel of yourself with the Simpsons. FOX's wording made it sound like it was an animated appearance on the show.

[edit] Gunshot

I think that Burns was shot in the chest, not the stomach.--Orthologist 13:26, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Is this page necessary?

I propose that this page be made a redirect to Part One. Why make users go through a disambig page at all? If they want Part One, the redirect would take them right there, and if they want Part Two, there's a hatnote at the top of the Part One article to take them there. This dab page is just an unnecessary extra step between users and what they really want to see.--ShelfSkewed Talk 07:02, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Script almost lost in HDD failure

I added "Incidentally, before production started the episode's script among twelve other Simpsons episode were almost lost in a computer hard drive failure and required the drive to be fixed by a hard drive recovery company.[1] ". Not sure if this is regarded as trivia, but it seems to be an interesting production note. Guroadrunner (talk) 21:02, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hidden Clues

Please sort out the hidden clues part of this. Most of them are trivial - may as well claim "Homer Simpson" is a clue because M and S appear in his name... —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)

Well no. As the sources clearly say, they were inserted as hidden clues, and Homer's name wasn't. Gran2 17:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GA pass

Yup, excellent, and I just watched the episode on Channel 4! Great article for great episode. Alientraveller 17:36, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clue

Would this classify as a clue?

When Mr. Burns says "But which one of you has the guts to stop me?", Maggie is the only one who has her eyes fixed on him the entire time. Just wondering. - .:. Jigsy .:. (talk) 10:12, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
