WHNZ 1250-AM, known as "Impact Radio", is an AM news/talk radio station in Tampa, Florida. It focuses more on business talk. Most of the station's programming is either syndicated or brokered time.
It has been the flagship station of the Tampa Bay Rays since 2005, but in 2008, it stopped airing Monday games of the team; those games are now heard on sister station WDAE.
WHNZ also airs games of the South Florida Bulls men's basketball program, as well as select games or events moved from WDAE or WFLA due to conflicts.
WHNZ is one of the eight stations in the Tampa Bay market owned by Clear Channel Communications.
