Whitrope

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Whitrope is a dense forested area high in the Southern Upland hills managed by the UK Forestry Commission in the south central Scottish Borders.

It is also an area full of historical places that needs to be seen to be enjoyed. Situated some 12 miles south from Hawick on the B6399 road, one can find the Whitrope Heritage Centre on the right, the headquarters of the Waverley Route Heritage Association.
