White Gum Valley is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Fremantle. Its postcode is 6162.
It is situated behind the main ridge that lies east of Fremantle, and it has been threatened a number of times in the last fifty years with dissection by a highway that would pass through the suburb. White gum valley was formerly owned by the O'Hara Family in the early 1900s.
Political manoeuvring over the cancelling or the re-kindling the highway has been considerable by both sides of politics in Western Australia.
