White City is a local name for the St. Anne's area of Colchester, England, situated between Ipswich Road and Harwich Road. The area includes Wilson Marriage Road, Goring Road, Barkstead Road, Barnidistan Road, Alderton Road, Crown Bay's Road, Dilbridge Road, Fairhead Road and St. Annes Road.
Within the area is Willowbrook Primary School, which until 2003 was known as St. Annes County Primary School.
The name comes from World War II pilots who used the area as a navigational aid to nearby Severalls and Boxted airfields due to the particularly white concrete used when the roads were constructed.
