The White-winged Woodpecker (Dendrocopos leucopterus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Afghanistan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and possibly Iran (Islamic Republic of). Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
