Whitchurch-on-Thames is a village and civil parish on the River Thames in the English county of Oxfordshire.
Whitchurch is located on the north bank of the River Thames, some five miles north west of Reading and directly across the river from the somewhat larger Berkshire village of Pangbourne. The two villages are linked by Whitchurch Toll Bridge. Whitchurch Lock is situated near the church.
Whitchurch-on-Thames is a civil parish with an elected parish council. It falls within the areas of South Oxfordshire District Council and Oxfordshire County Council. All three councils are responsible for different aspects of local government.
