"Whirlpool" is a song by the Meat Puppets. It was the second promotional single released from their album Forbidden Places. The single includes two previously unreleased cover songs: the Wanda Jackson cover "Funnel of Love" and the Led Zeppelin cover "Rock & Roll".
They Might Be Giants did a cover of this song on their EP Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun Is a Mass of Incandescent Gas).
