While She Was Out, is an upcoming thriller film starring Kim Basinger which began production on February 12, 2006. It is written and directed by film producer Susan Montford based on a short story by Edward Bryant. The budget of the film is purposely lower as it is being shot in real time and documentary style. Producer Don Murphy is overseeing the production^{[citation needed]}. The story as reported by Variety involves an ordinary housewife fighting for her life against four thugs after she witnessed them commit a murder. Lukas Haas is the male lead.
