[edit] Merge?

No, the article should NOT be merged with "tire". Whitewall tyres had a stylistic purpose, not a technical one, this article belongs to the "Category:Automotive styling features". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Randroide (talkcontribs)

I've removed the {{merge}} link, as I think it's unlikely the article will/should be merged, for various reasons. In terms of length, this article is longer than a stub; the tire article is already long enough (near the suggested 32k limit); and there are several specific tires already broken out (see Category:Tires). Also, the merge tag has been in place for almost a year with nobody merging it, and there are several links to this specific article that would be useful to maintain. --Interiot 23:23, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
