Whitehall runs from Trafalgar Square to Parliament Square, where the Palace of Westminster is located. The Houses of Parliament are located within the Palace of Westminster.

Notable places of interest along the route are: Horseguards, The Foreign and Commenwealth Office, The Home Office, Banqueting House, The Ministry of Defence, The Cenotaph, Downing Street and Portcullis House. There may be more, (Scottish Office, Welsh Office for example)I'll need to check.

The Statement that Whitehall runs from Trafalgar Square past the Houses of Parliament, needs correcting. --Martin TB 07:47, 6 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Actually, to be mildly pedantic, it doesn't run from Parliament Square, but into Parliament Street, which runs into Parliament Square, but given that it's a matter of just a few metres, I think we can ignore it in the article. Thanks for spotting this, but feel free to correct it yourself in future. :-)
