[edit] Angela Davis

Resolved.

The article states that Angela Davis was sentenced to 20 years in prison, but there is no such information on Angela Davis' page. I believe this is incorrect. --141.117.228.125 15:42, 6 February 2007 (UTC) Just also noticed, Angela Davis was a professor at the San Diego campus, not the Berkley campus. I've removed the sentence, someone can restore it if they can find a citation. --141.117.228.125 15:44, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Some unidentified observers..."

Some unidentified observers were reportedly surprised that a group of gay men, supposed to be "sissies," could be so aggressive.

The above line seems out of place. It could be paraphrased as "Some people hold prejudiced views of homosexuals." Not sure what that adds...

If there is a direct quote it could speak to gays standing up to injustice or increasing visibility. Benjiboi 02:51, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Broken link?

Resolved.

The Rogers article doesn't work?--24.250.59.250 (talk) 18:43, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

I've replaced with the Google cache of the same link. Benjiboi 19:48, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Placed candles at the statue of Abraham Lincoln

I removed this statement -- there was no reference cited, nor could I find any verifiable support for this claim. Moreover, I've spoken to a number of people who witnessed the riots (including newscasters), and none saw this kind of activity. The placement of candles, they contend, happened on the night of Moscone's and Milk's assassination, not following White's conviction. The mention of this unsupported "peaceful gesture" veers away from neutrality somewhat.
