[edit] White City Depot

Is White City Depot still open?. Passing its site today for the first time in a while, there seems to be significant redevelopment going on. If it has closed, then this article needs revising somewhat. -- Chris j wood 21:13, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I think you'll find that the depot is being replaced with a new one under the development. Britmax 09:36, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
The old depot, properly called Wood Lane depot, has been replaced with a new one called White City depot which is under the new shopping centre - see here for information.--DavidCane (talk) 00:01, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I saw the link through for the shepherds bush & white city development (links to alwaystouchout.out) and on their master plan large .pdf it now shows the new white city depot below the development, as replacement to wood lane depot (demolished), I also saw the Dimco buildings (listed) as to be converted to a 'drive through' bus depot, I do not know if the Caxton curve is still there (sharpest underground turn from shepherds bush to under Caxton road) as the wood lane depot and rail routes through the middle of the Westfield development are gone.(no source other then MS virtual earth birds eye view looking where the rail lines (used to) come out from beneath the road Ariel Way and curve south to the depot) Andy Dt (talk) 00:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
