Hi Marty. Re the caption, the reasoning goes like this:

  • We know it's a white-faced heron, that's what the article's about. So that bit is redundant.
  • Except for species with regional differences, the place that photo was taken is not really relevant to a species account caption. That information belongs on the image description page.
