Many psalms of Tate and Brady's New Version are preserved in songbooks still in print. See Sacred Harp for instance. I think this is an error. Amity150 23:57, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Are you referring to the line "It is the only one of the sixteen works in the 1700 supplement to still be sung today"? That's not saying quite the same thing. Yomanganitalk 00:03, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

You are right! Should have read more closely. I was thinking in particular of "As pants the hart," but that is from the earlier _New Version of the Psalms of David_. Thank you. Amity150 00:12, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

I've never seen "Whilst" as being the original before, and the scans of the 1700 "A Supplement to the New Version of Psalms" have it as While. Anyone have a reference to back up the "Whilst" claim in the article? --Bcola (talk) 20:43, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
