"Christmas, Why Can't I Find You," is a song written by James Horner for the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas! in the year 2000. It was first performed by Taylor Momsen, who played Cindy Lou Who in the movie. It is about 2:09.

A longer and different version of this song, called "Where Are You, Christmas?", was co-written by James Horner, Will Jennings and Mariah Carey. The song was originally recorded by Mariah Carey, but due to a legal dispute with her ex-husband Tommy Mottola , she could not release her own recording. It was re-recorded and released by Faith Hill, styled with some of the gospel music inflections she had previously used for 1999's "There Will Come a Day", and has since made a name for itself on the all-Christmas-all-the-time holiday playlist radio formats.
