The film has been deemed "culturally significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. A 2000 DVD release featured a reconstructed piano score written and performed by Martin Marks. A 2007 DVD release featured full orchestration of the Marks score, as arranged by Allen Feinstein.
