"When the Children Cry" is a power ballad, performed by the rock group White Lion on their 1987 album Pride. The single peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1989.
In early 2003, just before the beginning of the Iraq War, it was re-released as a cover by Christian indie rock group Seventh Day Slumber.
In 2007, T Beats UK produced a hip hop remix of the song using a sample from the first verse.[1]
