When Ladies Meet is a 1941 MGM romantic comedy film directed by Robert Z. Leonard starring Joan Crawford, Robert Taylor, Greer Garson, and Herbert Marshall.
The film is the second adaptation of the 1932, Rachel Crothers play. The film is the story of a successful novelist in love with her married publisher at the home of a chatterbox society matron . The novelist is pursued by another man who schemes to bring her together with the publishers wife, without either knowing it.
The film earned an Academy Award nomination for MGM art director Cedric Gibbons and Randall Duell.
