Wheat Thins

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wheat Thins are a popular baked snack cracker found in North America and distributed by Nabisco, a subsidiary of Kraft Foods Global Inc.. The product's slogan 'Great Taste...Big Crunch' was developed by Brian Eaton of St. Louis, Missouri in 1999. Also Vegetable Thins and Rice Thins, which both are spun-off from Wheat Thins are available in Canada and some regions of the United States. Wheat Thins come in many variations.

Wheat Thins sold in Canada use a completely different recipe from the ones sold in the United States. One key difference is that all packages of the American version contain 5 grams of whole grains per serving, but most of the Canadian variations do not contain any whole grains.

The cracker is still well-known for its late 80's ad campaign starring Sandy Duncan (then a cast member of the hit sitcom The Hogan Family).
