Hej! Looks like you are the translator from Swedish to English. There's a new article on Swedish Wikipedia, Sömn hos djur, which is very good. I can read just that much svenska - enough to see that it's an excellent article.

See also the discussion about it at the bottom of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Sleep . I took a look at the formal request for translation page, and it looked all too complicated! But I like the solution chosen on sv wp, with a short summary in the main Sömn article and Sömn hos djur as its own separate article. My suggestion for a title: Sleep in non-humans. I'm interested, alright. It's not huge, although I do work a bit, so I'm not sure how long it will take. Not sure if it actually needs to be logged (I am a sporadical editor usually, lest I have a particular goal), but perhaps it might be a good idea to make a formal request and then I'll just add myself as the translator. The request isn't very complicated, although the template is a bit... ugly, but I can make the request for you if you want. Where next Columbus? (talk) 22:25, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Please do! Blame it on me, if you like, and if I figure out how, I'll add myself as the proofreader. The content in that article is sadly missing on en wp. When you've got it done, I'll add it to bokmål and nynorsk!
I've asked the author to ask T. Åkerstedt for permission to quote him directly instead of just referencing personal communication. I'm being ignored on that, so if necessary I'll write to TÅ myself; I'm pretty sure he's still active.

It's amazing what one can do with 5 minute breaks at work. ;) Try User:Where_next_Columbus?/Workbench but I'm going to run it through the, er, spill cheque, and edit it a bit (remember the to-become-stub paragraph in sleep?) after I've translated.
