[edit] Second Bankrupt
This is a great idea for an article, but I think it'd be more approprately done using the wheel format. I hope someone here knows the wheel formats for ALL the rounds for ALL the seasons.76.177.160.69 (talk) 11:49, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
I thought the second BANKRUPT was placed on the red $300 in Rounds 2 and 4 and on the lavender $600 (next to $3500) for Round 3. Is this move to the yellow $300 a change for Season #25? --JoBrLa 20:31, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Apparently so. I originally designed the chart the way you describe it, and someone changed it. I've only had a chance to watch the show a couple of times this season, so I couldn't say for sure. JTRH 20:55, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Difficult to read/Sources
I wonder if this table might be easier to read if the rounds were listed as columns along the top (flipping the rows and columns). This would allow longer descriptions like "Bankrupt" to fit better within the table.
Also, I would be a little concerned that original research is being used in this article. I'm not exactly sure how it should work with this article, but information in Wikipedia should be sourced. --Bando26 (talk) 02:53, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've expressed the same concerns earlier, if I'm not mistaken (I think it's on either the author's talk page or perhaps in the history of this article). As an administrator, I should have probably deleted this awhile ago, but I'm going to give the community until January 1 to find some sources before I nominate this for deletion. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 03:53, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

- The information presented here can be reliably sourced and verified by watching the show. In other words, the sourcing/verification is available in broadcast form, but not in printed or Web form. I would submit that this is not original research. It is a simple descriptive list. There are no "arguments, concepts, statements, or theories" presented here (quoting from WP:OR). There is no POV involved. The information is identical to that which would be presented by posting screen captures of the wheel in each round of the game; however, the information is presented in linear form for ease of reading. The main Wheel of Fortune article page currently contains five screen captures used under fair use policy, as well as an original graphic representation of the wheel, all posted by other editors than myself. To the best of my knowledge, no challenge to these images has been raised. I hope this addresses your concerns; I'll be happy to discuss it further if you'd like. [edit] Changes
I've made some stylistic changes to the chart, and one content change. The Bankrupt appearing on the yellow $300 wedge immediately preceeding the top dollar position no longer carries over into round 4, so I've made that notation. I've also added an extra column to establish a position number, and in the introduction state an original starting point that the position numbers work from. I've also increased the width of the columns and the text size just a little bit for increased visibility and readability. DJBullfish (talk) 17:07, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'd really like to re-write the introductory portion of the article into a more formal style, but I'm not quite sure how it should be put. DJBullfish (talk) 18:16, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Given that most readers probably come here through the link from the main article about the show, I think it's pretty much self-explanatory. What you've written is fine. JTRH (talk) 18:58, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
