This page exists primarily to illustrate criterion #3 (and others, potentially) of WP:WIAFP

[edit] Including example images

I'm adding the best examples I can find with a quick search of WP:FP. There may well be better examples; if you find one, just substitute the filename for the existing one or the <!--> text and type a caption between the <center> tags, to keep the current formatting. At the moment, I've set each gallery to 200px and 3 rows, which I think should be enough to make the various points.
Although the earwax one was (sadly) never promoted, it illustrates the point really well for now. As it's not an FP, it should nonetheless be the first one in this section to be replaced, for example. Bear in mind some might work well in different sections, or in other WP:WIAFP galleries. The idea is to keep it updated. There's also scope for a further gallery (on this page?) of illustrations, diagrams, maps, etc. which I haven't looked into yet. Finally, I'm not sure about the promotion dates thing: it seemed like a good idea at the time :o/ mikaultalk 00:31, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
