What The Heck Fest

What the Heck Fest is an annual four-day music, arts, and film festival held in downtown Anacortes, Washington highlighting the town's vibrant independent music scene, as well as the networks of independent music of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Commonly showcasing bands from K Records, Marriage Records, Knw-Yr-Own, and States Rights Records among others, the festival follows in the tradition of legendary northwest music festivals such as Olympia's International Pop Underground and Yo-Yo-a-Go-Go. It is managed by Bret Lunsford, owner of Knw-Yr-Own, member of D+, and former member of the band Beat Happening.
