[edit] Range TV
Whalley Range has its own 'in house' TV station that broadcasts programmes throughout the day. Every room in the school has a television allowing all staff and students to tune in and watch the daily broadcasts of all the programmes produced in the school. Range TV was launched in September 2001.
[edit] Range Radio
Range Radio (1350am) is Whalley Range's own radio station based at the school. It submits live broadcasts throughout the day such as breakfast shows, lunchtime shows, afternoon shows and see you home safely show. The station continues to broadcast music all though the night.
The studio has been equipped with industry standard equipment similar to that found in professional local radio stations. Whalley Range is one of the first High Schools in the country to be allocated its own frequency by Ofcom, allowing listeners to tune in to the broadcasts using their own standard radios.
