[edit] Temporary status note

Real life starts to calm down -- I am nearly caught up on what I missed during the last two weeks -- and the power adapter plug for my laptop breaks off, with half of it stuck inside the power port. Advice on removing (tiny tweezers? superglue to a thin wire?) accepted on my talk page -- but I may not see it, because the battery is weak, which necessarily limits my ability to use the laptop.
