Interesting. Where's the discussion? What exactly is wrong? <KF> 01:37, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

No answer or comment for months, so I've removed the cleanup tag. <KF> 14:34, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

I know what the tag must have been talking about, if the article looked then like it does now. It is not wikified, disorganized, improperly formatted, and confusing to read.-Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 07:24, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

I read this novel 40+ years ago and I was struck by the phrase by Sammy "Fair? What kind of sissy word is fair?". It should be in the article. Sorry I am new to Wikipedia and hope that someone knowledgeable will integrate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.192.215.167 (talk) 07:57, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What Award?

I have removed the sentence, "The book won the National Critics' Choice award for Best First Novel of the Year." from this article. First, I can find no record of this book ever having won any award, and anyway, the National Critics' Choice award is a movie award. If anyone can find verification that WMSR won a prize, by all means put it in.

I also must agree with Dmz5 that the plot synopsis of this article is atrocious by any standard. Help is desperately needed. Seduisant 15:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Article full of bizarre anti-semitic references and innuendo. plz fix k thx.

[edit] Plot summary

I've trimmed the plot summary considerably, reducing it in length from about 1400 words to 800. --Tony Sidaway 18:04, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
