[edit] Web 2.0 - desktop alerts
I've moved your discussion to Talk:Web 2.0, as there is the appropriate forum to discuss changes on that article. --Pkchan 10:16, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Shanley.png
Thank you for uploading Image:Shanley.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. BigrTex 16:50, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Super Alerts
A tag has been placed on Super Alerts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WebHamster 21:09, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

- I recommend you read Wikipedia:Business' FAQ in response to your question on the article page. What's there was inappropriate, so I have deleted it. It is possible that an article may yet exist on Super Alerts (I'm not going to check on notability or anything), but you have to make sure it makes its way on through the right channels. [edit] Deletion of speedy delete tags
Do not delete speedy delete tags from articles you have created, it is considered to be vandalism and can get you blocked. WebHamster 16:45, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your product
All articles need to show that their subjects are notable (see WP:N and WP:CORP) by using 3rd party reliable sources (see WP:RS). Just because your competitor has an article doesn't mean that you get one too: Joe Blow sells tools so does Home Depot - it has an article so Joe gets one too? Your competitor, Google is clearly notable. What coverage from 3rd parties has your company and product received. Also, you should see WP:COI and WP:NPOV so that you have to include the negative about the product as well as the positive in any further attempt at an article.
