WFYE (102.7 FM) is a brand-new, though not yet on the air, broadcast radio station licensed to Glade Spring, Virginia. When WFYE is launched, it will serve the Marion/Saltville area. WFYE is owned and operated by ASRadio, LLC.
The station was assigned the WFYE call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on June 7, 2006.[1]
WFYE is currently operating under a construction permit that was granted on 2006-05-26 and expires on 2009-05-26.[2] On February 22, 2008, the station applied to the Federal Communications Commission to change its broadcast frequency to 100.5 MHz.[3]
