WFOS

WFOS is a radio station at 88.7 FM licensed to Chesapeake, Virginia owned by the Chesapeake Public Schools system. The station is run by students at the Chesapeake Center for Science and Technology. It has shows such as the Hall of Fame, which plays 50s and 60s music and Blues Traffic Jam.

WFOS also carries traffic services from METRO NETWORKS. http://metronetworks.com

WFOS was on 90.3 FM for many years. In the early 90's transmitters were swapped with Hampton Roads Public radio WHRO and WHRV so the two public radio stations could be closer together on the dial, 89.5 FM and 90.3 FM.
