WFMA-LP, channel 52 is an inactive low-powered television station licensed and located in Farmville, Virginia but in the Richmond, Virginia television market. The station was to broadcast on channel 28 in Richmond, but was denied by the FCC.
The station signed on October 15, 1992 as W52BS and were located on channel 52. On February 21, 2000, W52BS changed it call letters to WFMA.
WFMA was a sister station to both WFLV-LP (now defunct) and WKYV-LP (now a Telemundo network affiliate).
The station is currently silent, but its license remains active.
