3000-acre, 40-year "master planned community" built atop Nisqually Indian burial sites and the historic Fort Nisqually site, and adjacent to the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, which contains river delta wetlands. The core site is an old DuPont explosives factory (and hazardous waste site). [4]
