[edit] Nice pictures

I really liked the pictures on you put on Tilford. So many surrey pages need pictures, please keep up the good work SuzanneKn (talk) 19:41, 7 February 2008 (UTC) And now I've seen William Corbett's birthplace too - I hope you don't mind but I put it on the left as there was a gap in the text & made a link. [edit] Farnham

How wonderful for you to be improving this page. I'm sure you'll do a good job. One of the edits a while back I made to the page was about Farnham pottery. Maybe I made the page as well. The work I did wasn't great but an improvement on nothing. If you know more about that too it would be really good. I think it would be nice to have something on the architecture of the town especially on the road leading up to the castle. I don't know anything about architecture but visiting the town from time to time this needs to be covered more extensively. Have you been inside the castle. The entrance charge seems a bit steep. It would be nice to know a bit more about the inside. Farnham has a museum too, I'm not sure what's in it. All the best. SuzanneKn (talk) 10:06, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure what BTW stands for on the message you left me. Personally I don't like lists in the main text. Wikipedia is generally prose. The people can be linked by whether they were born there, in what decade or by their profession. I often change lists of people for a town into prose. Sometimes if the list is long, I make a new page for it as a list. I personally wonder why it is of any interest that Jonny Wilkinson did something obsure like be born? or something in Farnham. It doesn't make any difference to the town but other people seem to like it and he is a notable person. I tried to look for a wikipedia protocol on lists of notable people within the settlement page but haven't been able to find it. I may try later. I am always open to advice. Farnham looks excellent. I feel it could do with more pictures though - even the public library opposite the text would be nice. Do you feel up to going out with a camera? Regards SuzanneKn (talk) 16:45, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Lead item with picture - well done! BencherliteTalk 22:45, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

No need to thank me - all I did was pick User:PFHLai's nomination of your article. You did the most work, PFHLai brought it to prominence, and all I had to do was edit the main page and hand out the thank-yous! BencherliteTalk 22:57, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I understand it was you who nominated the Mother Ludlam's Cave article for DYK. Many thanks, and hope the stress soon eases. Weydonian (talk) 18:33, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome, Weydonian. Your nice new article deserves the spotlight on MainPage. ... I'm coping with my stress alright. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 11:14, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
