WETN (88.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Contemporary Christian format. Licensed to Wheaton, Illinois, USA, it serves the Chicago area. The station is currently owned by The Trustees of Wheaton College and is the oldest continually operating station in the county. It first went on the air in 1947 as AM station WHON[1] operating just 23 hours per week but began broadcasting 24 hour a day in 1984.[2]
