The words "particulate" or "particulates" are much more common in the air pollution field than "particle" or "particles".
Only the first occurrence of a term like "flue gas" should be made into a Wike link. It should not be Wiki linked for any subsequent occurrences.
The first sentence of any article should include the article title in bold font, if at all possible.
There was too much focus on scrubbers being used for cleaning flue gases. Scrubbers are used on many industrial plant gas streams other than flue gases. I tried to lessen that focus.
