Westwoud

Westwoud is a town in the province of North-Holland and the region of West-Frisia in The Netherlands, in the municipality of Drechterland, and is located about 4 km northeast of Hoorn. It received city rights in 1414.

Westwoud was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1979, when it became a part of Bangert.[1]
