Westwood is an area of East Kilbride, a new town in Scotland. It is immortalised by one of its former inhabitants, Roddy Frame of Aztec Camera in the song Somewhere in My Heart.
Westwood is home to Duncanrig High School, which under South Lanarkshire Council's School renovation scheme, was the first of the "new" schools to be built and occupied by pupils whom were from Duncanrig High and Ballerup High, respectively. The old school building is to be demolished to make way for car parking facilities to be used by staff and pupils of the new school.
