Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club

Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club are a cricket club based in the town of Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England. Since the clubs formation in 1845, they have nurtured a number of players who have gone on to play for Somerset County Cricket Club and a select few who have gone on to play for the England Cricket Team. The first team currently play in the ECB West of England Premier League Premier One, the premier level of the domestic cricket pyramid in the UK, and in 2007 finished in third place. The club also run a second team, who play in the ECB West of England Premier One 2nd XI, and a third team who play in North Somerset League Division Three. The club also has thriving ladies and youth sections and have a playing membership of over 200.
The club's finest hour came in 1986, when they were runners-up in the ECB National Knock-Out competition, losing to Stourbridge at Lords.
The club's home matches are played at The Devonshire Road Ground in Weston-super-Mare.
