[edit] History

Westminster Presbyterian Church was organized in 1893, and in 1900 dedicated its first building at the corner of Market and Front Streets. In 1955 as the population of Youngstown shifted to the suburbs the membership took the opportunity to move to Boardman Township and began work where the current church stands today.

The current Sanctuary was formally dedicated in 1967. Its stained glass depiction of the City of God makes the sanctuary one of the most unusual in not only the Mahoning Valley, but in the United States as well. It is one of the larger facilities in the Mahoning Valley including a balcony, choir loft, and organ.
