Westminster Diplomats is a Bahamian high school basketball team which has made history in the B.A.I.S.S championships in the Bahamas by winning the competition with a first year team. The team is coached by well, renowned coach, Geno Bullard. Coach Geno Bullard came to Westminster in September 2007, before his arrival Westminster Diplomats was unranked in the B.A.I.S.S competition. He came with a motto "One Team,One Goal, One Championship" and he took this motto straight through competition devastating all obstacles. This determination allowed the team to finish with a smashing 11-1 season record. In the playoffs they defeated, so called The Big Red Machine, St. Augustines College (S.A.C) to go on to the finals against the team that gave them their only loss in the season, Prince William Falcons. They entered the finals hungry for blood and defeated the Prince William Falcons in the first game of the series. This win seemed to have given the Diplomats a feeling of over confidence causing them to have a lacadasical attitude towards the next game which caused them a loss in there second game of the series. The Diplomats entered the third game with a most win feeling because of their coaches motivational speeches and how much was on the line for the winning of this game. The speeches seem to have worked because the Diplomats took care of business and defeated the Prince William Falcons to take the crown. The team consists of: Point Guard- Edvardo Burrows, Shaquille Bain; Shooting Guard- Larry Smith, Alex Bethell, Elle Hinsley; Small Forward- Christoff Stuart, Lowell Major; Power Forward-Liston Moss, Romayne Reid, Jeremy Rolle; Center- Rashard Morley, Newton Roxbury,Adrian Sherman.
