Westlink M7 Cities Marathon

The Westlink M7 Cities Marathon is a 42.195km marathon run by Blacktown City Council in Western Sydney, Australia since 2006. The course, which is certified by the International Association of Athletics Federations, begins in Liverpool, New South Wales and ends in Rooty Hill, running alongside the M7 motorway.[1]
The marathon's prize pool is AUS$33,000, with a first prize of AUS$8,000 claimed by Glenn Guzzo, in both the 2006 and 2007 races with times of 2:22:19 and 2:24:57 respectively.
