Westlicher Saalkreis

Westlicher Saalkreis ("Western Saale district") is a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the Saalekreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated west of Halle (Saale). The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft is in Salzmünde.

The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Westlicher Saalkreis consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):

  1. Beesenstedt
  2. Bennstedt
  3. Fienstedt
  4. Kloschwitz
  5. Lieskau
  6. Salzmünde
  7. Schochwitz
  8. Zappendorf
