Considered to be one of the best public school systems in central Ohio, the high-performing Westerville City Schools serves Westerville; Minerva Park; Blendon Township; Genoa Township; portions of Columbus; and other nearby rural areas. The superintendent is Dan Good. Though the district is situated in northern Franklin County, it also serves parts of southern Delaware County. Since 1997, the district has added one high school, one middle school, and two new elementary schools to accommodate a growing student population.
