Western School of Technology and Environmental Science , or Western Tech for short, is a magnet public high school in Baltimore, Maryland.It is located on 100 Kenwood Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21228. The schools main focuses are Career and Technology programs. Western currently offers 12 of these programs. The magnets offered are Automotive, Cosmeotology, Culinary, Environmental Science,Graphic Print Communications, Health Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Network Administration and Design, and Plumbing, Heating, and Gas Fitting along with Environmental Technology. The current principle is Mr.Richard Jester and the assistant principles are Ms. Alisha Trusty and Ms. Caroline Lapan. The school's mascot is the wolverine, with the school colors being navy blue, light blue, and white. Western also offers internships and work study programs for students in the 12th grade. However, students must maintain and A or B in their magnet programs.
